Our Website Design Process

    Our design process begins with an initial workshop to kickoff the design and development process. At this meeting, our goal is for our design team to learn about your company image, style, audience and business objectives.

    At this stage you are likely to have multiple goals for your website and ideas about what the website should look like. You want it to be a great marketing and sales tool for attracting new business and communicating its unique value proposition. If you sell products directly on your website than you may evaluate the best way to display your products and conduct efficient order processing. You may also want it to be a place for existing customers to find current information and retrieve documents.

    In this phase we'll work closely with you and your team to brainstorm about all the ways that your website can generate your desired graphical and business objectives. Once everything is on the table we'll systematically develop the best strategy to accomplish your new website design goals.

    Our objectives for this workshop will be to     -Identify needs and objectives for your business website. Identify the audience that you are trying to reach and customer's needs. Examine the technology options for the project. Establish the intended style and theme of the website.
    -Create a draft sitemap.
    -Determine contents of the navigation areas.

    Once we have finished gathering the information and we've agreed on the parameters of the website we begin designing the proposed website. The next step is to develop a series of design mockups. You will be provided with multiple sets of design mockups. Each design mockup set will have a distinct looks and graphical navigation styles that include the objectives agreed on during the kickoff workshop. Each mockup will also include graphic design for the home page, three internal pages and a basic contact form. We encourage you to review the mockups and choose one. At this point you will be encouraged to provide us with feedback and requests for changes. We will then go back and rework the design mockups per your specifications. Once all initial design issues have been addressed we will move into the Website Development phase.

Our Website Development Process

Functional Sitemap / Prototype - The first step of our website development process will be to build a functional sitemap. This is essentially a non-graphical prototype of the future website that will serve as an early testing ground for our proposed layout and provide your team with a clearer picture the content flow.

Product Development - Our team of producers builds out interfaces and backend functionality, creates the projected navigation and content from the specification documents and our technology assessment. The producers then create an information layout that clearly conveys the intended message to the target audience.

Product Testing - The project moves into a staging area, where it undergoes a vigorous testing phase. At this point in the process, you have direct access to the product and can conduct your own testing and begin to familiarize yourself with the project functionality. We value your feedback during this phase so that we can polish, debug and finalize the product.

Product Launch - Your product is released into live service. We closely monitor your product to ensure that no unforeseen issues arise.
